On December 18, 2019, the first secretary of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, Kang Minso, visited the “Research Center”, created jointly with the Tashkent Medical Academy and Korea University in order to attract leading foreign specialists to work educational process of the Tashkent Medical Academy. During the visit, he got acquainted with the work of the scientific center with Korean partners. The laboratory premises and classrooms of the “Science Center” were familiarized.
On August 28-30, 2019, Professor Kyung Hee Kim visited the Department of Environment and Human Health at Korea University. During the visit, Professor Kyunghee Kim, together with professors and teachers of the Department of Environmental Health at the Joint Research Center TMA-KU, in order to effectively conduct the educational process in the 2019-2020 academic year, based on the approved curriculum for master’s and bachelor’s students, held a seminar aimed at improving and increasing the importance of laboratory activities in science education.
On October 28-November 1, 2019, Professor Oh In Sung of the Department of Environment and Human Health at Korea University visited the Department of Environmental Health. From November 25 to 29, 2019, visited Soonyoung Kim, manager of the Analytical Laboratory of Environment and Production of Korea University.
On November 25, 2019, Sunyoung Kim gave a lecture to 1st-2nd year master’s students of the Department of Environmental Hygiene on the topic “Assessment of factors influencing workers using ergonometric, physical, chemical, biological methods.”
During the lecture, Soonyoung Kim explained in detail the methods of sample analysis on the AA-700 series atomic absorption spectrophotometer and the operating principles of this equipment.
On November 16, 2022, the Tashkent Medical Academy, together with Korea University, hosted a Republican scientific and practical conference with international participation on the topic “Current problems of environmental protection and human health.” Choi Jae Wook, Kyung Hee Kim, Yang Sung Il, Lee Dong Hyun, Sat Chi, Kim Gei, Choi Hyun Jung, Yerin Lee, Lee Di Hae, Park Ji Ah, Seol Ah Won, Lee Ji In, Dr. Kim Yeok attended .

The scientific and practical conference was attended by the Bukhara Medical Institute, Samarkand State Medical Institute, Andijan Medical Institute, Karakalpakstan Medical Institute, Fergana Medical Institute, Termez branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy, Tashkent Dental Institute, State Unitary Youth Innovation Center under the Ministry of Innovative Development. Specialists from the enterprise, the Fergana region, the city of Margilon, SEO and housing and communal services, and the Republican Service for Sanitary Epidemiology of Peace and Health also took part online. The conference was attended offline by the audience of the BIMM network center and the center for the development of professional competence of medical personnel.
